![]() ![]() Fine product, I'm just not the target audience. Otherwise I can barely tell it's on.į-Balm Electrolyte Water Facial: B. I prefer this over Sunday Riley's Good Genes - it's pricier, but GG has the same issue with burning that Protini Resurf had for me, whereas Framboos only stings if I get it on actual open skin like popped zits and such. This is a fantastic gel that keeps my skin clear, balanced, smooth, and ready for all those makeup photos I insist on bombarding you all with. TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum: A++, another HG product for me. I love the brand's other AHA so I'm guessing lactic acid at the forefront just doesn't work well for me. ![]() Smelled kinda funky (that vinegar-ish AHA smell, there's no added fragrance), it was pretty watery and actually made my skin burn now and again, especially if it was a bit dry. Protini Powerpeptide Resurfacing Serum: B-, I didn't care for this all that much even if it didn't wreck my skin or anything. I do use other moisturizers because this is expensive, but lately I've just been biting the bullet and buying Protini, and alternating it as I hate-pan some other stuff. I can't speak for how this would work with very oily or very dry skin, and negative reviews generally have these skin types, but if you only slightly lean one way or another I'd recommend this. Somehow makes my skin plump, glowing, and baby-smooth without giving me zits or making my face feel "sweaty". Protini Polypeptide Cream: A++, my GOAT, will rebuy forever. I sometimes use this to soothe chemical burns on my face and lips if I accidentally overdo it with retinol or AHA. I haven't tried the reformulation yet, but given that it only adds some ceramides I can't imagine my review on this would change. Fragrance-free, with a positively delectable whipped texture that even on my slightly oily skin doesn't feel greasy or heavy. Lala Retro Whipped Cream: A, fantastic if you have normal to dry skin that needs a bit of oomph. Compared to some of the positively elegant formulations of vit C I've tried from Skinceuticals (which does cost 2x as much admittedly), this was a letdown as someone who generally likes Drunk Elephant. Do note I'm talking about the old version here, as I haven't tried the new one yet. I think the plant extracts they add do a lot to really help minimize irritation, especially considering other alternatives lacking those like The Ordinary's 30% AHA solution.Ĭ-Firma Day Serum: F, absolute awful product. It's expensive for what it is, especially if you have skin that can tolerate harsher but equally as effective alternatives. TLC Sukari Babyfacial: Solid B+, it's a great product that does some hardcore exfoliating while still being pretty gentle for most people.
